I have made these little beings over the last couple of days. Two of them are sold! Now that is flattering that someone would want to buy something I have made. The other one (with the ears). I made this morning and it involved me plucking up the courage to use the applique stitch on my sewing machine.
For some this would mean nothing, but having always been a bit nervous of the sewing machine (goes back to school days I think, with a yelling teacher) it is quite an achievement for me!
I do hope you are all safe. The storms last night were awful. My wonky old shed is still standing which is a miracle really, considering it was put up by Bodgit and Scarper!
Anyway, I plan to paint this table either this afternoon or tomorrow. Someone gave it to me and it had a big split in the top which was being held on by a nail. I did not want to buy wood glue or filler so I had a root around and came up with the idea of filling it with some cotton wool and pva glue. Bit messy but it appears to have worked. Yes, it looks like I have done a bit of Bodgit and Scarper myself, but I am sure it will look ok painted up.
